About the event

**Walk the iconic High Line with us!** **Visit Hudson Yards attractions, have lunch at Chelsea Market, and dessert at the Museum of Ice Cream!** *Note: This event is weather dependent and we will make a call the day before. Bring sunscreen, comfortable walking shoes, and your camera.* I will post a more detailed itinerary when we get closer. Basically, we will arrive at Penn Station late morning and walk through Moynihan Train Hall (you can grab a snack or drink), and enter Hudson Yards. If there is interest, we can get tickets for the "Edge" observatory there, or we can split into groups where the height-challenged can check out other Hudson Yards attractions such as "The Vessel" Once meeting up, we will enter the High Line and start our walk and I will be sure to find the best places to point out things like photo ops. Eventually we will exit near Chelsea Market where we can get basically anything we want for lunch, such as: * Lobster roll from Lobster Place * Spicy cumin beef noodles from Very Fresh Noodles * Fish tacos from Los Mariscos * Roasted cauliflower pita from Miznon * Tahini soft serve from Seed + Mill We can eat inside if we can find seats or take our food out. More info: https://www.chelseamarket.com/ Finally, we will hop on a subway and head over to the nearby Museum of Ice Cream for a tour (and sample the product!). This requires a separate ticket, I will post details later. We will prob spend a few more bucks on a non-timed ticket so we are not pressured to arrive within a specific window. * **Your ticket to Museum of Ice Cream – New York offers unlimited ice cream from our multiple treat stations** located throughout the experience. You will also get to try the Ice-a-Bagel which is a New York exclusive treat! * **Jump into the famous Sprinkle Pool**, filled with oversized plastic "sprinkles." * 🛝 **Ride NYC's longest indoor slide**, which ends in one of the themed play areas. * 🚇 **Explore interactive themed rooms**, including: * A whimsical NYC subway-themed ride ("Skybeca") * Banana Jungle * Hall of Freezers with hidden surprises * Sundae Kitchen, where you can play with oversized dessert-themed installations * 📸 **Take lots of Instagram-worthy photos.** Nearly every room is designed as a colorful photo backdrop. * 🎲 **Interactive games and activities** rather than simply looking at exhibits. * 📖 **Learn a bit about the history of ice cream** More info: https://www.museumoficecream.com/new-york-city/ The "Edge" observatory also requires tickets, so I am curious to know who is interested, so please comment below.
