**Overview** Ayla Nereo in Vancouver — music, community, and the last golden light of summer. Thursday, September 10. **Ayla Nereo - Golden Hour Concert** As summer fades into autumn, we gather for the golden hour - summer's last exhale. Join us for an evening of beauty, community and connection with Ayla Nereo! Ayla Nereo is a composer, singer, dancer, filmmaker, and multi-disciplinary artist whose music weaves vocal looping, poetry, electronic production, folk, and ceremonial sound with the rhythms of our living world. But it is her voice that carries the transmission, with an uncanny ability to disarm and crack open the heart. Ayla will guide us through a musical journey and bring the dancefloor together to move, sing and reflect. The evening opens with a local acoustic set by singer-songwriter Akaiyah Fortune, followed by Ayla's headline performance. When Ayla's set comes to a close, those who wish to linger are invited to stay for an afterglow set with Vancouver's own Medicine Fox, closing out the night with an ambient, melodic uptempo set. Golden Hour is a celebration of the turning season, a chance to pause, gather, and savour the last warmth before autumn arrives. See you in the golden light. **Schedule** 6:30pm - Doors 7:30pm - Akaiyah Fortune 8:15pm - Ayla Nereo 10:00pm - Medicine Fox afterglow set **Tickets** Early Bird: $45 (until July 31st or first 100 tickets) Advance: $50 (until Aug 29th) Regular: $60 Day-of: $65 Purchase your tickets [here](https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/ayla-nereo-golden-hour-vancouver-tickets-1992800039563?aff=mu). **Follow the FB Event for updates:** [https://www.facebook.com/share/1CVAGx1k9G/](https://www.facebook.com/share/1CVAGx1k9G/ "https://www.facebook.com/share/1CVAGx1k9G/") On the unceded lands of the Musqueam, Squamish & Tsleil-Waututh Nations, we gather in gratitude - walking with respect, reverence, and reciprocity.
