Lysterfield Lake Social Walk & Optional Lunch – 5.5 km or 11 km | Grade 2 (Easy)

Join us for a friendly social walk around the beautiful Lysterfield Lake Circuit Trail. This is a Grade 2 walk, suitable for most ages and people with a basic level of fitness. No previous bushwalking experience is required. We’ll walk around the lake in an anti-clockwise direction:

• One lap: approximately 5.5 km — around 1 hour 15 minutes • Two laps: approximately 11 km — around 2 hours 30 minutes • Walking pace: approximately 4.5 km/h • Grade: Grade 2 – Easy

You can finish after the first lap or continue with us for the second lap. Meeting point: Outside the Public toilet block, next to the Horswood Road a Lysterfield Lake. Please arrive by 9:50 am, so we can start walking at 10:00 am.

Optional Lunch After the walk, we’re planning to have lunch at [The General Food Store](https://www.thegeneralfoodstore.com.au/?utm_source=chatgpt.com) in Emerald. Anyone who would like to continue socialising is very welcome to join us. Lunch is optional, and everyone will pay for their own food and drinks. This is a free social event. Parts of the trail are shared with cyclists, so please stay aware of your surroundings. Dogs are not permitted in Lysterfield Park. Everyone participates at their own responsibility. The walk may be postponed if the weather or trail conditions are unsuitable.
