🍃 Women's Night Time Walk to Minoh Falls & Summer Illuminations 🌙

Hi everyone! 👋 As it's been such a hot summer, our walks have been quiet than usual. I thought it would be fun to try a cooler night time walk at Minoh Park! 🌙✨ This summer, Minoh National Park is hosting a special evening illumination event, with the trails lit from sunset. Full-colour LED lights will highlight the green maple trees, creating a truly magical atmosphere throughout the park. Along the route, Ryuanji Temple, Saikoji Temple, and Ichinohashi Bridge will also be illuminated. If we're lucky, we might even spot a few fireflies along the river! 🪲💚 📍 Meeting time and point: 18:30 (Hankyu) Minoo Station: Outside the ticket gate • If you are late, you will not be able to join us on the way. I will not be able to contact you individually⚠ Details • Women only • Participation fee is: 1000 yen (cash) • Difficulty: Easy • Distance: 5.6 km round trip • ⏰ Meeting time: 18:30 • Please eat dinner on your own before or you can bring your own snacks. The Hike! 🌿 From Minoo station, it’s a short 5-minute walk into the park. We’ll follow the paved riverside trail (2.8 km each way). The route is gentle and suitable for all levels. After around 1-hour, we’ll reach the 33-meter Minoh Falls. Why join this walk? 1. See Minoh Falls after dark, illuminated beneath the forest canopy. 2. Walk through softly lit riverside paths, historic bridges, temples, and woodland scenery. 3. Enjoy cooler mountain air just 30 minutes from central Osaka. 4. Capture illuminated waterways, and one of Kansai’s most scenic night walks.
