Closure (2026) written and directed by Michał Marczak (Polish: Bez końca). Sixteen-year-old Chris disappears one morning near the Vistula River in Warsaw. A CCTV camera captures him on a bridge and then, between frames, he vanishes. His father, Daniel, cannot accept waiting for answers. He builds a boat equipped with cameras and drones and begins searching the river himself. Days become months, and the search turns into an all-consuming mission. Other families living through similar uncertainty begin to contact him. What first carries the tension of a true crime story gradually becomes an intimate film about a father, grief, hope and the painful space between searching and accepting that some questions may never have an answer.
