The last ‘minimal movie’ by Pim de la Parra, who passed away in 2024, portrays the seemingly unruffled relationship between two couples living together. Audrey is a successful novelist and is married to Derek, a professor in the wondrous science of paradoxical logic. Loes is a car mechanic and horse owner who lives with painter Robert. The two couples seem to be good friends, but when they are together all kinds of irritations come to the surface, leading to funny, but also painful, complications.
