Storytelling – Contaí I O Passarinho Contou

Credit: Tally Campos O Passarinho Contou, a company founded by artist and researcher Tayame Porto, blends storytelling with live music for audiences of all ages. The group has performed at venues including Sesc, Bienal do Livro, Virada Sustentável and cultural spaces throughout São Paulo. Contaí takes place on Saturdays at BVL, bringing together storytellers and listeners in collective sessions that honour oral tradition and popular culture. Interactive, playful narratives affirm the library's role as a space for spoken word. No advance registration required. Suitable for all ages with no restrictions.
