Facilitating at the Edge: Holding Grief and Hope in Times of Transition.
About the event
How do we honour what is ending while creating space for what is emerging? π€ Explore how the Three Horizons' practice allows us to hold both.
As facilitators, we increasingly find ourselves holding spaces shaped by uncertainty, disruption, and profound transition. Many of the challenges facing our organisations, communities, and societies invite us to confront a difficult paradox: *how do we acknowledge what is ending while remaining open to what is trying to emerge? π*
Drawing on the Three Horizons framework, embodied awareness practices, and Bill Sharpe's work on the Patterning of Hope as Key Practice, this highly experiential session invites participants to explore facilitation as an existential practice. Together, we will investigate how grief, hope, uncertainty, and possibility show up in our work and what capacities are needed to hold these tensions with presence and care. π‘ Rather than offering another facilitation method, this session creates a space to experience what it means to facilitate at the edge - where endings and beginnings coexist, and where the future becomes something we participate in shaping together. π
