Japanese–Chinese Exchange Meetup in Osaka · Umeda
We're hosting a casual exchange meetup for anyone interested in Chinese, lovers of Chinese culture, or those thinking "I'd like to try speaking but I'm nervous..." — everyone is welcome!
Both Japanese and Chinese are totally fine!
Don't worry about whether you're good or bad at conversation.
The host will support you fully, so even beginners can join with confidence.
Event Overview
Venue: Café Nue (near Osaka · Umeda Station)
Participation fee: 500 yen (※one drink order required)
※Staff will take orders at each table. Please keep your receipt until the event ends!
Who's welcome:
• Anyone interested in Chinese
• People who love Chinese culture, food, or travel
• Chinese people who want to chat in Japanese, etc.
Here's what the vibe is like!
• Relaxed chatting at a café
• Both Japanese and Chinese are welcome (mixing is fine too)
• Even if conversation doesn't come naturally, no problem! The host will help keep things going
• Topics naturally center around culture, food, travel, and more ✈️
⏰ Schedule (approximate)
Duration: about 1.5 hours (max 2 hours)
• We'll rotate seats every 20–30 minutes
• The host will let you know when it's time to move — just follow the cue
• After the event, if you're thinking "I want to keep talking! Let's grab food!" feel free to join an optional after-party!
※The café seating is max 2 hours, so please exit promptly after the event ends

• Attending for MLM, religious, or sales purposes
• Harassing other participants (pressuring people for contact info, sexual harassment, etc.)
• Taking photos without permission at the café (be mindful of other customers)
If any of these rules are broken, the host may ask you to leave.
