Discover the vibrant new cultural heart of East London at the V&A East Museum — a breathtaking addition to the Victoria and Albert Museum family! Opened in April 2026 on the East Bank in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, this innovative space brings world-class design, creativity, and cultural heritage right to Stratford. Designed by the acclaimed Irish architectural firm O’Donnell + Tuomey, its striking folded form creates a welcoming civic landmark filled with over 500 extraordinary objects spanning centuries and cultures. It’s a true powerhouse of innovation, learning, and inspiration — the perfect place to spark amazing conversations and new connections! 🌟💫
How it works:
1. We’ll meet for coffee or tea in or outside the café (this is the most important phase — don’t miss it! ☕😊) 2. After about an hour, we’ll head inside together to explore the museum 3. After exploring the museum, we’ll head to a nearby café (such as the on-site Café Jikoni or another charming spot close by) for drinks, bites, and continued conversations in a cozy setting.
