South Florida Palm Society Show & Sale
About the event
Hundreds of palm and cycad species come together for a two-day plant show, sale and educational program at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden. Returning Saturday, November 7 and Sunday, November 8, the annual South Florida Palm Society Show & Sale marks its 42nd fall edition with plants for purchase, expert guidance and opportunities to explore Fairchild’s palm collections.
South Florida Palm Society members will staff an information center throughout the weekend, offering cultivation advice and complimentary fresh seeds from a range of species. Guided palm walks take place at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. each day, highlighting specimens growing throughout the Garden.
The event also features plein air artist Linda Apriletti, whose landscape paintings draw inspiration from South Florida environments including the Everglades and Big Cypress. Admission to the show and sale is included with general Garden admission, while Fairchild members receive free entry.
