Major League DJz, the South African duo consisting of Banele and Bandile Mbere, have grown into one of the most recognizable names in the Afro House and Amapiano scene. With their signature mix of rhythmic percussion, warm basslines, and forward-looking dance music, they build bridges between the African continent and global club culture. During Amsterdam Dance Event, they bring that sound to Amsterdam.
A night at Jimmy Woo
The evening takes place at Club Jimmy Woo, one of Amsterdam's most distinctive clubs. The interior combines influences from South Africa, Asia, Los Angeles, and the Belgian brasserie culture of the 1960s to the 1980s. The ceiling with more than 12,000 lights is an eye-catcher that has been radiating invitations to dance for decades. Admission is reserved for visitors aged 21 and older.
