About the event
How We Begin-
We will each have a portion of time to share our thoughts on the following questions in respective order below. After everyone is done sharing, we will have a group discussion per question connecting on each other’s shared experiences.
We don’t have to answer all of the questions…we are just going to go with the flow of the talk:)
How do you think people perceive you when they first meet you? What do you think they notice first, and what assumptions might they make?
How would you like to be perceived by others? Is that how you currently show up, or is there a gap?
How much should we adapt based on how others perceive us? Where is the line between being aware of how we come across and changing ourselves to fit that perception?
How much of who you are is shaped by how you believe others see you? Where does self-awareness end and self-consciousness begin?
There are no right answers. The interesting part is hearing how differently we each experience the same thing.
