Hands-on chemistry demonstrations, eerie experiments and family-friendly activities turn the museum into a Halloween science lab. The 10th annual celebration takes place Saturday, October 31 at the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science, with programming included with paid museum admission.
Visitors can explore the Mad Science Lab, observe unusual chemical reactions and meet scientists from local universities and professional organizations participating in National Chemistry Week. The event combines seasonal fun with opportunities to learn about chemistry through interactive demonstrations and experiments.
Family-friendly costumes are welcome, though faces must remain visible and costumes may not include weapons, sharp objects or elements that could pose a safety risk. The program is presented by the Miami Downtown Development Authority and sponsored by Royal Caribbean. Onsite parking is available in the museum garage.
