Carnival Noir III (Emo & Post-Hardcore Halloween Party)

Dear Heart Shaped Friends and Cuties 👻

Last year’s *Carnival Noir* still lingers fondly in our little hearts, so we are summoning it back for a third time!! <3 This year, your impossible circus of the underworld has found itself three peculiar directors: my fellow witch and long-time friend Mona, my trusted keeper of all things strange Ljöscha, and myself.

Together, we invite you into the darkest parade between the worlds of the living and the dead. 🎃

🦇 The Underworld

For our third annual *Carnival Noir*, we are taking over the back room of The Castle at Nordbahnhof, hidden from the mortals behind a literal curtain. Once you cross the threshold, the circus awakens, where horror clowns, bloody cotton candy and curious creatures await. And if you behave yourself, perhaps we shall even allow you to return to the living before the night is through.

The room has direct access to the smoking area, plus two extra-comfy couches in the middle room for creatures who need to escape the spectacle for a moment, catch their breath, or perhaps disappear into the arms of another creature of the night.

🍿 The Circus Attractions

There will, naturally, be attractions to discover along the way.

📸 The Polaroid Photobooth will be awaiting with strange and wonderful accessories for you and your fellow creatures, with real Polaroids to take home as proof you survived your visit.

⚰️ Black-and-White Vampiric Films will be screened on the TV for those wishing to disappear into another story for a while.

🔮 Somewhere among the shadows and webs of fog, an entity with a crystal ball and a deck of tarot cards will offer glimpses into what lies ahead, or perhaps what has already passed. Whether you wish to know is, of course, entirely your own affair.

🩸 The Haunted Buffet will be provided by all of us. Bring your spookiest culinary creation and leave it among the offerings. In exchange, each brave contributor may claim one song wish from the three directors. *(Orders from the Castle are: All food is allowed if spooky. Please also order food from the bar - they have pizzas (vegan and non-vegan) and fries).*

🎤And should the lights beyond our curtain call to you, the mortals in the front room will also be hosting karaoke. It is not part of our Carnival and is hosted separately, but you are welcome to wander between the two worlds. Just remember which side of the curtain you belong to.

🕷️ The Soundtrack of the Underworld

If we are going to drag you into the underworld, we might as well give you something worth dancing to on the way down.

Expect the best of post-hardcore and emo, with a heavy dose of female-fronted pop punk and the occasional crabcore gem. And because we are millennials, the original Twilight soundtracks will make their sacred appearance.
