Luminary Close Look: Lee Miller—Fearless
About the event
The first comprehensive survey of Lee Miller’s photographs in more than 25 years, Lee Miller: Fearless gathers together the major episodes of her singular career—from her portraiture of cultural figures like Charlie Chaplin and Pablo Picasso to her documentation of World War II as a Vogue correspondent.
Join curator Matt Witkovsky in the galleries for an intimate viewing and conversation exploring the remarkable work of an artist who was by turns a fashion model, magazine photographer, studio operator, Surrealist innovator, international adventurer, and battlefield correspondent.
Open exclusively to Luminary members, this event requires advance registration. Please note that this event occurs when the museum is closed to the public; registered guests will be provided entry instructions in advance of the program.
