Alek's Farewell Spooky Paddle Board Trip in City of Miami
About the event
Miami is losing one of its finest but we won't let him go without a bang! Aleksander is moving away to the great up north and we're sending him off by doing one of his favorite activities, paddle boarding! Since it's so close to his favorite holiday there will also be a Halloween theme.
Here's the plan: -Meet at Jose Marti Park at 5:30 pm -On the water by 6:00 pm -Have a relaxed sunset ride into Bayside/Downtown -Ride back under the moonlight -Pack up and have dinner in the area for a final goodbye at 305 Peruvian Modern Cuisine [https://maps.app.goo.gl/xT3ZMVAXanKmPH6y7?g_st=ac](https://maps.app.goo.gl/xT3ZMVAXanKmPH6y7?g_st=ac)
What to bring: -Something spooky to wear (think a witches hat, skeletal makeup, or whatever you can wear and paddle in at the same time). -Water -Your own paddle board (or any small craft you like) -A life vest -Boat lights -Good memories of Alek
Parking is limited, so carpooling is recommended. There are some free spots about two blocks away from Jose Marti. As far as I know, there are no rentals available so you must bring your own board or ask around to borrow one.
