This programme is a screen-lite activity in support of Grow Well SG.
From sarongs to baskets, pillows, and cakes, everyday objects can be sources of inspiration for story ideas. With guidance from Singaporean author Quek Hong Shin, let your imagination take over and create a little illustrated story about a chosen object. Learn about story structure, creative writing, character design and more in this exciting workshop.
This programme is suitable for children aged 7-12.
Please note that participants should bring their own writing/drawing materials (e.g. pencils, colour pencils).
Registration and Attendance
• Registration is required for this programme. Please register one ticket per person.
• Attendance will be taken using the NLB Mobile app. Please download the app ( https://go.gov.sg/nlbmobile-attendance ) or update it to the latest version. Then, scan the QR code at the venue to take your attendance upon entry.
• [For parent-child programmes] Parents attending with children: please add your child’s profile in the NLB Mobile app before arriving, so you can include their attendance in the submission.
• Please arrive 10 minutes before the session starts. Seats may be released to walk-in participants if you arrive late.
