Greek Language Meetup Kickoff

Yiassas! I hope everyone is having a nice summer, with hopefully at least *one* trip to Greece.
We will kick off the 25th(?) year of our Greek Language MeetUps on Thursday, October 1st, at our old standby, The Parthenon in northwest Washington, at 7:00 pm. We normally MeetUp the last Thursday of the month, but I will actually be in Greece that week.
In addition to our Oct. 1st MeetUp, here are two other events to note:
• On Saturday, Sept. 19th, at 6:00 pm, our friends at Prometheas will hold "A Fall Social Gathering" at the Hellenic Center. It will feature an art exhibit by Evyia Makrodimitri with items for sale, a Greek music performance by the local band Parea, appetizers, and wine. This is free, but RSVP is required.
