AWS Women's User Group Berlin: October Event - Technical Workshop

AWS Women’s User Group Berlin presents an interactive, hands-on workshop hosted at the AWS Berlin Office!

AI-assisted software development is transforming how we build applications. However, getting great results from AI coding tools isn't just about writing good prompts—it's about giving AI the right context, requirements, and technical guidance.

Join us for a beginner-friendly Level 200 workshop where we’ll introduce Spec-Driven Development and show you how to work more effectively with Claude Code, guiding you from what you want to build straight through to implementation.

What You’ll Experience This is a practical, hands-on session—not just a presentation. We’ll walk through a real-world example, and free temporary AWS accounts will be provided for the workshop!

You will learn how to go from: 👉 Idea → Specification → AI-assisted Implementation → Validation

Key takeaways:

• What Spec-Driven Development is and why it's powerful when working with AI coding tools. • How to turn an idea or requirement into a clear, structured specification. • How to provide Claude Code with the right context and guidance. • How to review, validate, and practically apply AI-generated implementations.

*!Please bring your own personal laptop!* *No previous experience with Spec-Driven Development or Claude Code is required. A basic understanding of coding or AWS is helpful, but the session is designed to be accessible to beginners.*
