Beginners and 'Not so' Beginners Summer Badminton

Hi all! Please read the instructions carefully.

Terms and conditions MATCH FEE The match fee is 120 SEK. Please ensure that payments are made at least 48 hours before the event (by Thursday, 18:00). We arrange courts based on the payments received by Friday. If you join late, please check with the organizer before proceeding with the payment. If you decide not to join please move yourself to the Not-Going list at least 24 hours before the game. If you fail to do so you should pay the match fee.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

1. Swish: Send the payment to Manoj Mohanan Remani (076 976 4839) and include a message in the format: "*YOUR MEETUP NAME - DATE OF EVENT*".

CANCELLATION & REFUND

1. You can cancel your participation up to 24 hours before the event. A cancellation fee of 10 SEK will be deducted to cover transaction charges. 2. If you cancel within 24 hours of the event, a refund will be provided only if someone else takes your spot.

Note: If the event is canceled, you will receive a full refund. During summer we don't plan to provide invoices as we won't be able to cover the expenses.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Sportswear 2. Non-marking indoor badminton shoes 3. Badminton Racket: Available for rent, contact organiser in advance. 4. Water bottle and snacks (Optional but recommended) 5. Warm-ups (Helps with smashes and injury prevention)

Shuttles (YONEX MAVIS 350 Nylon) are provided. Please return them after the game.

Fair Play

We’re a friendly, diverse group with varying skill levels. Our goal is for everyone to enjoy the game:

• Be polite and inclusive; we always play doubles and encourage rotation. • Beginners, feel free to let us know—we’re happy to help. • New members, please message me in advance and arrive early so I can introduce you to the group. • I won’t be available to take calls/messages during the meetup, so contact me beforehand with any concerns. • Please take care of your belongings and leave the facility clean. • Feel free to share feedback or let me know if you face any issues.

Don’t forget to say "Hej" when arriving and "Bye" when leaving. We are more than just a group; we’re a community 'Beyond Play & Court'.

Facilities at Frescati Sports Centre

• Changing rooms are available. • If you have a Fitness24Seven membership, enjoy a gym session before or after the event.
