Three years ago, Pitou took the music world by storm with her debut 'Big Tear', widely praised as one of the best indie records of the year. Now, the singer, composer, and producer is back with 'P2', a rollercoaster of emotions and creative outbursts. The indie sensation returns with a kaleidoscopic album for a terrace concert at Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ. Folk, indie, dance and electronica Pitou was born in Amsterdam and studied at the conservatory right next to the Muziekgebouw. She is therefore on familiar ground as she takes the stage at the Terras for a whirlwind show. Folk, indie, dance, electronica—it all comes together with Pitou, with her versatile voice as the anchor point. Music is often an outlet for the dark sides of life, but on 'P2', Pitou wanted to embrace *everything*, including the euphoria, the joy, and the madness. After all, music is always with her, in good times and bad. The process-driven, DIY approach has resulted in a unique, kaleidoscopic album that celebrates all facets of life. Outdoor concert This terrace concert takes place outdoors. Right by the water, the sun can be strong and it can be quite windy, so please be prepared for this. In case of bad weather (rain and/or strong winds), we will move the performance indoors to the Entrance Hall, with a view over the IJ.
