About the event

For our first meet up i think the main city would be a convenient spot. I’m thinking we go around Monument, London Bridge etc. Usually on Saturdays there’s loads of people here so great for street photography with people and ofcourse good architectural spots too!

Hope this is notice enough and most of you can make it!

Meeting point: Bishopsgate Exit

Route: potentially Liverpool Street -> Gherkin -> Leadenhall Market -> St Dunsten in the East -> The Monument -> Cross London Bridge -> Borough Market to end with drinks 🍻

Photowalk Code of Conduct

Our club is a welcoming, inclusive and judgment-free space for photographers of every background and experience level.

1. Everyone is equal. Treat every member with the same respect, regardless of age, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, appearance, experience or equipment. 1. Be kind. Bullying, harassment, discrimination, intimidation, exclusion or deliberately making someone uncomfortable will not be tolerated. 1. No shaming. Never shame anyone for their photographs, ability, camera, phone, editing style, knowledge or level of experience. 1. Do not make negative comments about ability. Everyone is here to enjoy photography and develop at their own pace. Constructive feedback should only be given when someone asks for it, and it must be respectful and helpful. 1. Respect different styles. Photography is subjective. You do not have to like someone’s work, but you must respect their creative choices. 1. Help, don’t compete. Celebrate other people’s progress, share knowledge generously and make newer members feel welcome. This club is a community, not a competition. 1. Respect personal boundaries. Ask before photographing another member or sharing an identifiable photograph of them. If someone asks not to be photographed, respect that immediately. 1. Include everyone. Do not form cliques, deliberately leave people behind during walks or make anyone feel that they do not belong. 1. Take responsibility for your impact. Jokes and comments should not come at somebody else’s expense. If someone tells you that your behaviour made them uncomfortable, listen and respond respectfully. 1. Speak to an organiser if something happens. Concerns will be taken seriously and handled as fairly and discreetly as possible. Serious or repeated breaches may result in removal from the club.

The basic rule: be kind, be inclusive and never make another person feel small.
