Building Friendships as Adults: Creating Meaningful Connections
About the event
Making friends seemed simpler when we were younger. School, activities, and shared routines naturally brought people into our lives. As adults, things can look very different. Between work, responsibilities, changing priorities, moving to new places, and simply having less free time, building and maintaining meaningful friendships often requires more intention.
For our next gathering, we’ll explore what friendship looks like in adulthood and how we create the kinds of connections we want in our lives.
We’ll talk about making new friends, turning acquaintances into genuine friendships, maintaining relationships when life gets busy, navigating friendships that change over time, and finding community as adults. This won’t be a lecture. It will be a relaxed, welcoming conversation where we can share experiences, perspectives, and ideas with one another. Whether you already have a strong circle and want to deepen those relationships, are hoping to meet new people, or simply find the topic interesting, you’re welcome.
And perhaps the best part? A gathering about friendship is also an opportunity to make a new one. Come as you are, bring your perspective, and join us for good conversation and meaningful connection.
