Afternoon Wissahickon Yellow Trail Trek - 6 miles
About the event
Join us on an afternoon hike along the Yellow Trail in the Wissahickon. We will be walking high above the creek and should be surrounded by beautiful fall colors! Trails are rocky and there are hills! We will keep a moderate pace and have a brief pause during the hike for a quick snack break. Distance about 6 miles, anticipated hike time hours 2 - 3 hours depending on the pace of the group. Bring along plenty of water and snacks and dress for the weather. Steady rain cancels - if in doubt please check the status on Meetup by 10am the morning of the hike or contact leader with any questions. Logistics: We will meet at Houston Playground where there is plenty of street parking. No restrooms along the route so please plan accordingly.
