You know that feeling when you want a companion for the weekend? Someone to go on walks with. Someone to join you for coffee. Someone to cuddle with on the couch. Someone who's genuinely thrilled to see you when you walk through the door.

What if you could have all of that — without committing to a dog forever? That's the idea behind Foster & Hang. ❤️ We're building a new community where people foster shelter dogs for a few weeks and get to experience what life with a dog can actually feel like. And we're looking for our FIRST FOUNDING FOSTERS.

We're heading to the upcoming Miami Dade Animal Shelter Foster Fair, and we're looking for 10–15 people to join us.

You'll meet dogs who need temporary homes and have the opportunity to find one who fits your lifestyle. Maybe you're already a dog person. Maybe you've always wanted a dog but aren't ready for a permanent commitment. Maybe you work from home and would love some company. Maybe you've been wanting a reason to get outside more. Or maybe... you just want someone to cuddle with. Fostering can give you the chance to experience all of that while giving a shelter dog something they desperately need:

A home.

A shelter can keep a dog safe. But a foster home lets a dog live.

When you foster with us, you aren't doing it alone. We're creating a community around the experience.

During your foster stay, you'll have opportunities to join other fosters for:

☕ Social hangouts with fellow dog lovers 🌅 Sunset walks 🌴 Outdoor adventures 🧺 Picnics 📸 Foster photo days

The dogs don't have to interact with each other. We'll structure outings around each dog's individual needs and prioritize safe, calm coexistence. Your foster gets an adventure. You get a companion. And together, you become part of a community.

💘 AND YES... THERE'S A CHANCE YOU'LL FALL IN LOVE.

That's kind of the point. You might foster for two weeks and help your dog find their forever home. You might decide to keep fostering. Or you might look at the dog sleeping next to you and realize:

"Oh no. I think this is my dog."

🐕 WE'RE LOOKING FOR OUR FIRST 10–15 FOUNDING FOSTERS

You don't have to be an experienced foster. You don't have to know if you're ready to adopt. You just need to be able to provide a safe, loving temporary home for a shelter dog for a short period of time, subject to the shelter's requirements and the individual dog's needs.
