Oliver Heldens is a Dutch DJ and producer from Rotterdam who is considered one of the pioneers of the future house genre. He broke through internationally with tracks such as Gecko (Overdrive) and Last All Night (Koala). His sound combines deep house with melodic and energetic elements, and has secured him a permanent place in the international dance scene.
Two sides of the same artist
Alongside his work as Oliver Heldens, he releases darker, heavier techno under the alter ego HI-LO. With HI-LO, he explores the underground side of electronic music: rawer, harder, and more experimental than his future house work. On stage, both worlds come together in one evening.

Melkweg is one of Amsterdam's most famous venues for electronic music. During Amsterdam Dance Event, Oliver Heldens traditionally opens the festival's first club night.
