Weekly evening tranquil walk in Pacific Spirit Park 10km Easy 2 hours, 6.15pm

This event will preferably be held on Tuesdays but if the weather is not good may be changed to Wednesday or even Thursday.

Due to the current Earth's orbital position around the Sun, please bring a night light, flashlight or headlamp 🙏🏻.

If you decide to not come, please change your RSVP asap. Please understand NO-SHOWS are not good because it's not fair on the rest of the group to be delayed thinking you may show up. Please be on time, at least 5 minutes before start, communicate any delay, for transit UBC bus 033. By car you can park along 16th or in the parking lot free.

This is a walk which we'll try to organize weekly on Wednesdays but maybe moved to Thursday in case of weather.

We will do a loop of various trails starting from the parking lot on 16th Avenue, cross over into Cleveland, Sasamant, Clinton, Imperial, Iron knee/Salish, cross over 16th, Lily and back into the parking lot. The pace of this hike will be moderate (not slow not fast) and we will stay together as a group. Please be respectful in all conversations and chat and not to make anyone feel uncomfortable, not ask uncomfortable personal questions, ok to have fun and laughs! and no constant clingy walking that may make someone feel uncomfortable. (anyone can discreetly report to me)

The weather has been unpredictable and this hike could be cancelled with 48 hours notice or moved to Thursday. It could also be cancelled if the group size is too small, like just a few people.

You must wear appropriate attire, boots, rain gear (i.e. waterproof clothing) should we encounter rain. All other hiking essentials are recommended, including 2 liters of water, a change of clothing, snacks etc.
