The Oslo Short Film Festival returns for its annual date at the Sentralen Hvelvet on August 26&27. The 8th OSFF features 21 short films from 17 countries, presented across four screening programmes.
The line-up includes two Short Film Programmes and two Short Documentary Programmes, featuring a wide range of filmmakers, styles and approaches.
From Norway, with Elisabeth Brun’s “Big Tech Blues”, and Taiwan, with Rong Zuo Zhuang’s “Tutti”, to Greece with Christos Tatsis’s “Avantaz” and Kosovo with Besim Ugzmajli’s “Five Seasons of My Childhood”, this year’s programme reflects the international character of the festival and brings together films and filmmakers from across the world.
Across the four programmes, audiences can discover a varied selection of films, each with its own style and perspective. Together, they offer a broad look at contemporary short filmmaking.
For two days, the 2026 Oslo Short Film Festival will once again set its screen at Sentralen -Helvet-.
