About the event
Discover how bush foods growing at Sydney City Farm can nourish our city. Sample bush flavours and pot up a plant to take home. Bookings are essential. Upcoming tours: Saturday 14 November 9:30am to 11am – Book Saturday 14 November 12pm to 1:30pm – Book What you’ll learn: The living Aboriginal cultural connection to the landscape Bush foods suitable for growing in the city What you’ll get: Guided walk around Sydney City Farm with education officers from Koori Kinnections Taste samples of bush foods Pot up a bush food plant to take home Suitable for all ages. Koori Kinnections educators are passionate about connecting past to present and making learning about Australia’s First Peoples fun and entertaining. Please note: This is an outdoor program running at the farm rain or shine, please bring waterproof clothing and shoes in case of wet weather. For the safety of visitors and volunteers events may be postponed or cancelled in extreme weather conditions.
