Inversion Encore presents Wanting Memories
About the event
Inversion:Encore presents a concert called “Wanting Memories.” We all know someone struggling with or has passed away due to complications from cognitive decline; one day is always different from the next, and it is hard both for the person who has it and their caregivers. “Wanting Memories” is about the desire to remember, the willingness to let go, the acceptance of new realities, and, eventually, experiencing healing. This project benefits the Love Notes Choir, a community choir for people with early-stage memory loss and their caregivers. discount codes: 'student' for $15 off ticket discount 'friend' for $10 off ticket discount Encore is Inversion's community chorus exclusively for singers aged 50 and above who want to hone their musical chops, keep on singing and learning challenging music, and create music with others who are experiencing vocal changes that come with age. The choir is made up of both seasoned and brand new choristers from around the Austin Metro area. Benjamin Dia, collaborative pianist, and Katrina Saporsantos, Artistic Director, make up the artistic team.
