Ready to get outside, enjoy the Austin scenery, and meet some new people? 🌳
Join Austin Desi Social for a relaxed morning walk around Lady Bird Lake! This will be a casual social hike—not a race or strenuous workout. We'll walk at an easy pace, enjoy the lake and downtown views, and have plenty of opportunities to chat and get to know each other.
Whether you've been in Austin for years or are relatively new to the area, everyone is welcome. You don't need to know anyone beforehand, and coming by yourself is completely fine!
📍 Meeting Point
We'll meet at the Stevie Ray Vaughan Statue at Auditorium Shores at 9:00 AM.
I'll be there early so everyone has time to arrive and get acquainted.
We'll begin walking at 9:15 AM.

• Approximately 2–3 miles of walking

• No hiking experience necessary

🚗 Parking: Please plan to arrive 15–20 minutes early to allow enough time to find parking and make your way to the Stevie Ray Vaughan Statue. Parking around Auditorium Shores can fill up, especially on weekends, so please give yourself some extra time.
Please check the weather before coming and bring enough water to stay hydrated.

For anyone who wants to keep hanging out, we can decide as a group whether to grab coffee, breakfast, or brunch nearby after the walk.
