Austin International Founders Meetup (Vol. 10)
About the event
Join Austin's dedicated international founders community. 🌍
Austin International Founders Meetup (Vol. 10), brought to you by International Founders Network (IFN).
Whether you're an international founder, an immigrant entrepreneur building a global startup in Austin, or a local founder or investor looking to connect with the international community, this is your place.
Austin attracts world-class talent, but the international founder journey comes with hidden hurdles: immigration complexity, unfamiliar funding norms, and rebuilding a high-trust network from scratch. IFN's monthly meetup exists to bridge that gap, connecting international founders with each other and with Austin's broader startup ecosystem.
WHAT TO EXPECT • High-signal networking: founder-focused connections across every stage, from idea to Seed to Series B and beyond • The Tactical Spotlight: a short, expert-led deep dive on a problem international founders actually run into • Founder-to-founder problem solving: hiring, fundraising, GTM, banking, and legal and immigration logistics • Expert access: investors, attorneys, operators, and immigrant founders who have already built here • Actionable resources: practical templates, referrals, and collaborations, minus the fluff
WHO SHOULD COME • International and immigrant founders, whether you are new to Austin or already scaling here • Austin-based founders looking for international talent, co-founders, or a global perspective • Global operators and tech leaders exploring their next entrepreneurial move • Allies and mentors: investors, attorneys, and mentors who actively support international expansion
