Free Beginner Two-Step Lesson at Donn’s Depot

A free beginner two-step lesson every Wednesday at 7:30pm at Donn's Depot, one of Austin's oldest and most beloved honky-tonks. No partner needed, no experience needed, and no cover. Stay after for live music from Frank Cavitt & The Honky-Tonk Doctors at 8:30pm. Double or Nothing Two-Step teaches Honky-Tonk Two-Step, Austin's own style, best described as swing in the style of two-step. It is small-space dancing, evolved to fit Austin's dance floors, and our beginner lessons are famous for getting first-timers up and dancing the same night. We rotate partners throughout the lesson, so solo dancers, couples, and groups are all welcome. Wear whatever is comfortable. Boots if you have them, sneakers are fine. Donn's Depot is 21+.
