This newly reopened walk follows the most beautiful foreshore track in the Kuring-gai Chase along Cowan Creek. Meeting up outside Berowra station at 9:45am, we begin a (200M) descent down Berowra Track through the rainforest to Waratah Bay taking a break at the ferry wreck. We then follow the foreshore track with amazing views of Cowan Creek. After lunch we begin a (200m) ascent up Mt Kuring-gai Track, finishing the walk at Mt Kuring-gai station by 2:00pm. TRANSPORT OPTION: 8:48m train from Central Station Platform 8, arriving at Berowra Station at 9:35am. (Check Opal Trip Planner for updates). BRING: 3 litres of water, hydralyte tablets, snacks, lunch, sun protection, first aid kit, Bushmans repellant, rain gear, hiking shoes.
