Love crafting and making new friends? Introducing a fun workshop and social event that will leave you with a keepsake and some new connections. Sparklinc's first guided art workshop will focus on aluminium foil embossing that can be made into memorable creations such as bookmarks, photo frames, greeting cards, ornaments, and more, all while building a community.
What is aluminium foil embossing? Aluminium foil embossing is an art form that presses foil to make 3-D designs. In this workshop, we will show you the techniques and create some beautiful designs that can be used for bookmarks, photo frames, greeting cards, ornaments, and more. The goal is for you to leave the workshop with a piece(s) of art that is uniquely yours.
What is sparklinc? We’re two best friends who are creating an organization founded on the idea that we could "always have more friends". We were inspired by our love for DIY crafts and being surrounded by a wonderful community of people. Our goal is to bring like-minded people together to craft and connect. Over time, we aim to host multiple art workshops for different mediums and interests, bringing people together as we do it. Stay tuned for our future workshops!
Do I need to be an expert crafter? Absolutely not - our designs and techniques are beginner-friendly, and our small workshop sizes ensure that everyone gets individual attention to learn effectively.
Do I need to bring materials? We will provide all the materials needed. But feel free to bring a reference picture, or something to size.
How do we leave with friends? We will facilitate conversation starters, ice-breakers, and more to keep everyone chatting and connecting during the workshop.
How much is the ticket? Our tickets are 15 dollars each, and this will include all the materials. Our goal is to keep these workshops affordable and accessible.
