Event Details: Spend your Saturday evening playing padel and meeting people at Tokyo Mizumachi. Padel combines elements of tennis and squash, but it is easier to learn than either. Even if you have never held a padel racket before, you can usually start returning the ball and enjoying a game quite quickly.
We have three courts booked for the full two-hour session, giving us more space to rotate players, mix teams, and keep the evening moving. Matches will be casual rather than highly competitive, with breaks between rounds for water, conversation, and getting to know the rest of the group. You’re welcome whether you’re completely new, have joined one of our previous padel events, or already play regularly. The emphasis is on having fun, staying active, and enjoying the social side of the game. The courts sit beneath the railway at Tokyo Mizumachi, close to the Sumida River and Tokyo Skytree, making this a distinctive place to spend an early-autumn evening in Tokyo.
Most people attend on their own, so you won’t be the only person arriving without knowing anyone.

Padel rackets are provided and included in the event fee. Shoes can be rented from the venue for ¥300.
