Are they valuable simply because they have been passed down to us, or should we question and change them when society changes? Traditions can connect us to our history, culture, and community, but they can also sometimes be outdated. How should we decide which traditions are worth keeping? Join us for a relaxed and open discussion as we explore:
• What makes a tradition valuable? • When should traditions be kept or challenged?
🕒 Schedule: 8:00-8:20 - Listen to a bilingual lecture on the night's topic while enjoying snacks and coffee 8:20-9:00 - Discussion in small groups Afterwards - Stick around and hang out with new friends\!

The presentations at IQ Cafe are always bilingual because we want you to be able to practice Japanese and English! For the discussion time, there are tables with English and Japanese available. Let's practice language together!
