Join Badass Tours on this 90-minute storytelling walk to explore the stories of some of these fascinating African Amsterdammers. Did you know?
Did you know that there have been African Amsterdammers since at least the 1590s?
People from Africa and the African diaspora have shaped this city in profound and sometimes hidden ways. In fact, a South African Amsterdammer co-founded the Afrovibes festival!
Badass Tours has partnered with Afrovibes to craft a 90-minute storytelling walk for this year's festival.
The walk starts and ends at de Brakke Grond, Amsterdam Afrovibes HQ. It’s also the stage for Nadia Beugré’s Épique! (Pour Yikakou) on Friday and the SOIL|SOUL Triple Bill on Saturday, so tour participants can eat dinner and then see these fabulous performances.
