Self-introduction 5-10 min Share something good that happened recently, your reason for joining, etc., and get to know each other. 2. TED Talks video sharing 10 min Pick one video from TED Talks that interests you. Share content that is easy to listen to and understand within 5-10 minutes. 3. Discussion time 30 min Discuss based on pre-prepared questions aligned with the video theme. "I can handle everyday conversations, but I don't have opportunities to use business English." The organizer failed to get selected for a study-abroad program in their third year of university, tried again in their fourth year, gave up job hunting, and went to the U.S. for a one-year exchange. Now they have a TOEIC score of 885 and work in a job that uses English every day, but they still have a lot to learn and hope to learn together with everyone. News Sharing \| 10 min Each session, we'll pick a news topic that interests us and share an article or video that takes about 5–10 minutes to read or watch. 3. Discussion Time \| 30 min We'll discuss the news topic in English using a set of prepared questions. About the Organizer I failed to get selected for a study-abroad program in my third year of university. I tried again in my fourth year and eventually decided to put job hunting aside and spend a year in the U.S. as an exchange student. Today, I have a TOEIC score of 885 and work in an international environment where I use English every day. But I still have a lot to learn myself. That's why I'd love to create a community where we can learn from one another, broaden our perspectives, and improve our English together.
