October Tall Meetup London

Hello fellow tallies, and by tallies we mean women over 5\`9 and men over 6\`2. This is the one chance a month for us to meet up in person literally face to face in London. You don\`t have to be a member of the club to attend but you do have to be tall!

Our October “Last Friday London Social” – is being held (for one month only!) at The New Explorer, 23 Great Castle St, London W1G 0JA in the downstairs function room from 1800hrs on Friday 30th October 2026! Oxford Circus is the nearest tube station and there are lots of buses pass nearby. This is a displacement from the Marlborough Arms, our usual venue, due to their pub undergoing a major refurbishment which we will be able to see in November. If you are reading this on 30th October, whilst standing outside the Marlborough, looking at a closed pub, please don’t worry, as it is a 15 minute walk away...

The New Explorer is a Greene King managed property with a range of great beers, and good pub food, and Roomel and the team there look forward to greeting us!. If you have never been to a Tall Persons Club Meet-up before, you may find it slightly surprising and sometimes alarming to be looking up at many of the people present. It certainly improves body posture and reduces Osteopathic bills \ Only a couple of simple rules – always follow the guidance of the venue staff and be kind and aware of your fellow attendees; different people have different expectations, social distances and levels of comfort in crowds, so please be thoughtful and respectful of the comfort of others. We do tend to have fun at these events and you can drink, east, talk and interact as much or little as you wish.

You are allowed one guest and they do not have to be tall but they do have to be tall friendly! We do look forward to seeing more of you (71 attended in September) and continuing some of our High Level Conversations.....
