This meetup is all about short, fast-paced talks and big ideas.
We’ll hear from members of the local Elastic and broader tech community on what they’re building, experimenting with, and learning along the way.
Expect an evening of technical conversations, fresh perspectives, pizza, refreshments, and plenty of time to connect with the Austin Elastic community.

Lightning talks are short, informal, and a great way to share a project, use case, technical lesson, demo, or idea with the community. No hour-long presentation required.

Talk Abstracts: Building an AI & Data Security Governance Platform with Elasticsearch (Dan Tecuci - Concentric) *Dan will share how Concentric is building an AI and data security governance platform and how Elasticsearch powers indexing, search, and reporting across the platform.*
Two Lists, No Words in Common (Firus Hanov - Hanov Consulting) *Sales teams often validate leads against external sources like non-payer blacklists, sanctions lists, and tender registries, but traditional keyword searches fail when the same company or product appears under different names. In this lightning talk, Firus will share how he built Deadstock using Apify, Elasticsearch, and Claude to match records by meaning rather than exact wording.*
