Led by Mariane Klettenhofer, co-founder of O Pequeno Colecionador, this five-part workshop series investigates how contemporary art practices relate to toys and games. Drawing inspiration from works featured in the Pina Para crianças: experiências com a arte desde 1968 exhibition, each session uses hands-on exercises with diverse materials and spatial interventions to explore play and toys as independent forms of expression. Through collaborative activities, participants discover how manual creation functions within a creative, playful and reflective process, developing inventive thinking and collective action. Registration required: open from 19/08 at 10h through 28/08 at 18h or until 20 spaces fill. Recommended for ages 16+. Free. Sessions held Thursdays 15h30–17h30 on 03, 10, 17, 24 September and 01 October at Ateliê Pinacoteca Contemporânea, Avenida Tiradentes, 273. Mariane Klettenhofer holds degrees in architecture and urbanism from FAUUSP and a master's in art, philosophy and critical thought from European Graduate School. In 2018 she co-founded O Pequeno Colecionador with artist Artur Lescher, conducting research, education and curatorial work bridging visual arts and play experiences. Prior projects include Laboratório de Experiências Lúdico-Artísticas in the Arte é bom exhibition at Museu da Imagem e do Som (2022–2023), and Tudo é arte, tudo é brinquedo, selected by the 10o Edital de Concurso de Projetos de Mediação em Arte e Cidadania Cultural (2023) from Centro Cultural São Paulo and Secretaria Municipal de Cultura.
