About the Programme
The Abilities Unlocked Series spotlights the lived experiences, skills, and talents of persons with disabilities, strengthening self-advocacy through inclusive programmes.
This interactive storytelling workshop introduces children to Singapore Sign Language (SgSL) through engaging stories and characters that explore values such as compassion, courage and kindness. Through storytelling, role-play and hands-on activities, participants will learn new signs related to the story and practise using them in a fun and engaging way.
By the end of the session, participants will gain greater exposure to SgSL and learn how signs can be used to communicate and express ideas through storytelling.
The workshop is suitable for children, and parents are welcome to join and learn alongside their child.
