Jaap van Zweden, Bomsori Kim & Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra

Jaap van Zweden, chief conductor of the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra since 2024, conducts his orchestra for the first time at The Royal Concertgebouw. In addition to Mozart's poignant Symphony No. 40, Respighi's I Pini di Roma, a tribute to Rome, will also be performed. South Korean star violinist Bomsori Kim will perform Mendelssohn's beloved Violin Concerto. Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra with Jaap van Zweden The ever-convincing conductor Jaap van Zweden is coming to Amsterdam with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra. Van Zweden has been music director of the South Korean orchestra since 2024 and was previously chief conductor of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra and the New York Philharmonic. In addition to their well-attended concert series in Seoul, the orchestra also performs in major European and American concert halls. Mozart, Mendelssohn and Respighi Jaap van Zweden conducts the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra in Mozart's dramatic Symphony No. 40 and I Pini di Roma by the Italian composer Respighi, a colorful tribute to Rome. South Korean star violinist Bomsori Kim plays Mendelssohn's beloved Violin Concerto, with which she made a great impression last year at Carnegie Hall in New York—together with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Jaap van Zweden.
