About the event

Looking to meet new people in Vancouver and have conversations that go a little deeper than small talk?

Come join us for a relaxed, open-minded evening where we can meet, socialize, share ideas, laugh, and talk about the different parts of life that make us who we are.

Dating and relationships. Friendships and community. Work and purpose. Health. Fun and recreation. Everyday responsibilities. Spirituality and meaning.

In other words… pretty much everything that makes up a life.

The evening is loosely organized around 8 dimensions of life. Don’t worry — this isn’t a lecture, and you don’t need to know anything about psychology, spirituality, or self-development.

The eight dimensions are simply a fun way of getting conversations started and discovering what we have in common.

What might we talk about? • What makes a good friendship? • Are people becoming more or less connected? • What makes work feel meaningful? • How important is romantic connection to a happy life? • How do we make room for fun when life gets busy? • What does being healthy actually mean to you? • Do we need spirituality or a sense of meaning? • How do we balance all the different demands of life?

And the conversation can go wherever it naturally goes.

You don’t have to be philosophical or “into self-improvement.” You can simply come to meet people and have an interesting conversation.

The vibe

Think social gathering + interesting conversation, rather than a formal workshop.

We’ll probably have some guided questions to get things moving, but there will be plenty of room for spontaneous conversation, getting to know people, and seeing where the evening takes us.

You can participate as much or as little as you like.

The goal isn’t to come up with the “right” way to live.

It’s simply to connect with interesting people and explore what makes a good life.

Who is this for?

Anyone who enjoys meeting new people, having meaningful conversations, exchanging perspectives, and getting beyond the usual Vancouver small talk.

You don’t need to have everything figured out. 😊

Come curious. Come social. Come as you are.

We’ll meet, grab a coffee or drink, and see where the conversation goes.
