Whether you are a complete beginner or already have experience, creativity starts with curiosity and the willingness to try something new.*
Get acquainted with clay and discover the possibilities of sculpting with your hands. During this two-hour workshop, you will learn the basic principles of working with clay. Build forms, add texture and experiment with simple tools while creating something of your own.
What do you want to make? An object, a figure, an abstract form or something completely unexpected? There is no fixed outcome. Your creativity takes the lead, and we are there to guide you along the way. This workshop is part of our Open Studio programme, a relaxed creative space where you can work with your hands without committing to a fixed course or long-term programme. No experience is needed. Just come in, choose your creative direction and start making.
Depending on the clay you work with, you can either take your piece home straight away or collect it after it has been fired in our kiln.
Duration: 2 hours Price: €59 Location: Amsterdam House of Arts & Crafts, Oudeschans 21, Amsterdam Includes: All materials, use of tools, professional guidance, tea and a cookie Friday evening sessions also include a drink. Doors open 15 minutes before the workshop starts.
