Walk in Stanley Park - Ferguson Point

Choose between 10 km and 5 km routes. Our walks are restricted to club members who have paid $15 for a 12-month membership. However, if you would like to try one or two walks before committing yourself to a paid membership, you do have that option. In the subject line of your email, write MEETUP. ***Please note: Although the number of attendees indicated on this page may appear low, be assured that you will be walking with many club members who have not RSVP’d. We rarely have fewer than 15 participants at any of our walks.*** **ROUTE DESCRIPTION:** This walk will go along English Bay, up the stairs to Ferguson Point past the Teahouse Restaurant. We will then walk along several trails in the old growth forests where you will see some of the oldest trees in the park. Return via the Seawall going clockwise to Coal Harbour. There are two 5K routes: (i) mostly around the east side of the Seawall and back via the Rose Garden (ii) trails to Beaver Lake, then the Aquarium and back via the Seawall. **Walkers will register (sign in) at the start point between 9:30 am and 9:55 am.** The walk will start at 10:00 am **sharp**. Please be on time; **we do not wait for latecomers.** Immediately following the walk, you may wish to join some of your fellow club members at the nearby lunch venue. *NOTE: Once you have RSVP’d, our Meetup site will always show your status as “Unpaid”. This is not a cause for concern.
