About the event
Join us for NAMIWalks - sponsored by the National Alliance on Mental Illness - the largest mental health awareness / fundraising event in [Central Texas](https://namicentraltx.org/). Proceeds from this annual event help provide free mental health education, support, and advocacy programs for families and individuals impacted by mental illness, as well as training and community presentations. • Walk starts at 9:00AM at the Long Center and is 3 miles through downtown Austin. Our group typically walks together at an easy pace. Register and join the Austin Acts of Kindness team. There is no registration fee.

*Volunteer to help put on the event. See list of jobs at TBD. Often we sign up for "Walk Clean Up Volunteer", but other jobs and times are available.
