About the event

Building on foundational resilience, this workshop focuses on sustaining momentum over time through passion, perseverance, and habit-building. Participants will learn how small, consistent actions compound into meaningful progress, how to reframe setbacks, and how to maintain focus and motivation through long-term challenges. Expect research-backed insights, practical tools and frameworks, real-world examples, and case studies as well as guided reflection and hands-on exercises in this workshop. About the facilitator: Derek Ariss Derek Ariss is a specialist in innovation culture development, bridging the gap between academic theory, corporate efficiency and social impact. As the Head of Innovation Education at Innoventiem, he designs and delivers programs that foster adaptability, design thinking, and creative problem-solving. Currently an Affiliate Faculty Member at Singapore Management University (SMU), Derek teaches Innovation, Adaptability, and Critical Thinking with AI. With a background leading innovation for LendLease and retail operations across Asia, he has spent over seven years teaching teams how to transition from transactional mindsets to becoming trusted advisors. Derek’s academic credentials include an MBA in International Marketing and Strategy, a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of Windsor, Canada, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Biology (Honours) from McMaster University, Canada Registration and Attendance • Registration is required for this programme.
